PARDON XL - March 2025

PARDON is back at Paradiso for more big-room energy, alongside UK rap royalty Novelist, Hessle Audio OG Pangaea, Horst regular AliA, and our very own EYCEE and INSULINDE.

After last year, PARDON had to come correct once again! Over at HQ, their imaginations started cooking up visions of one of the finest British MCs to emerge from its shores, shelling from behind the metal fence in that grand main room. Nov’s been in the game for over 10 years now, from dropping the Mumdance-produced hit “Take Time” on Rinse back in 2014, to a follow-up release on XL Recordings and touring the world. Currently, he's leveling up to self-produce his own projects, taking influence from G-Funk and Grime to Soul and Techno. The Lewisham-born genius can truly shell on any beat, and we know it’ll be special when he grabs the mic on March 28th!

Another Rinse regular and Hessle Audio OG, Pangaea's music and DJing are steeped in expansive references to UK dance music cultures while offering an explosive mutation all of his own. His set at Parallel during our first shuns after lockdown in 2022 was so mind-blowing, we had to get him back in the PARDON booth ASAP. It’s set to be another lesson in rhythmic club tracks and low-end history.

If you need someone to expertly link a lineup together, AliA is that glue to make it all make sense! She possesses a vast knowledge of club music (in all its forms) way beyond her years, and a mixing technique that many spend decades trying to master. It’s no surprise that she’s a regular at one of Belgium’s finest festivals, Horst, as she continues to push her own fierce and passionate love for a different variety of genres.

In the BASSment, Rinse FM’s Reek0 & FELIXCW land fresh from their Dancers Road EP, joined by eclectic selector Pelanoir. Amsterdam’s bubbling specialist styn goes b2b with rising percussive talent T.NO, while Mallaury closes with bold, bass-driven rhythms. Jan Koster and STIPP return with raw, high-energy selections. Expect top-tier b2bs, heavy bass, and sweat-drenched ceilings.
